Patience

Having a two year old is like being pecked to death by a duck. I am really having to work on my patience with Beck. He is so stong willed and stubborn that we butt heads a lot. Ben says that we have a volatile relationship. I am either getting mad at him about something or we're playing and he's giving me big hugs. I have a new favorite scripture - Alma 31:38, "And the Lord provided for them that they should hunger not, neither should they thirst; yea and he also gave them strength, that they should suffer no manner of afflictions, save it were swallowed up in the joy of Christ." My afflictions are not very big, but I am thankful that when I have them, because of the spirit of the Lord, I am able to get through them. If I have the eternal perspective my trials do not seem quite so hard.
